Parent Participation (Ruach Hours)
Hausner relies on parental expertise, dedication, and vision. Volunteers contribute significantly to our educational programs, as well as to our fundraising and operational activities. Therefore, all families are required to provide at least 20 hours of service per year to the school. Families unable to complete the 20 hours will be billed $25 per each remaining hour. This participation requirement is per family, regardless of the number of children attending the school.
4th-8th Grade Overnight Class Trips
All grades participate in daytime field trips to enhance their learning of the curriculum, the cost of which are included in tuition. Hausner students in 4th-8th grades also participate in overnight field trips, which are directly connected to instructional programming. These trips extend classroom learning and give students a chance to learn about different customs and cultures, history, language, or science. Students also form bonds with classmates and teachers away from campus.
